Corbin was drafted with the 61st overall pick by the Slugs in this years draft. Coming off of a 9 points rookie season (5G, 4A) one could argue that this was a great pick for the Slugs as Corbin seemed to have slipped further down the draft board than he should have. As a versatile forward he is able to play on the attack and is someone who will back check you and chase you down if the puck is going the other way. He has an ability to be plugged into the lineup anywhere and has an easy to mesh with playing style that allows him to be on any teams top line or 2nd line and never miss a beat. Corbin will look to build on his strong rookie season while also adding great depth to the Slugs as he will be controlling their second line duties to begin the season. Look for Corbin to make a leap in points this year as well as he joins his good friend Ballew on the Slugs second line and has shown promising chemistry in the early going.
