Welcome to Savannah Roller Hockey League
For the longest time, the coastal Georgia area lacked any organized hockey league for players to play in. The mission of the Savannah Roller Hockey League (SRHL) is to provide a safe and family friendly environment for hockey enthusiasts to play in an organized league while making hockey accessible for Savannah’s youth. The overall goal of the organization is to bring hockey to the Low Country while passing on the love for the sport to the youth and adults who may not have grown up with the sport. We welcome all players and every skill level to make a fun, yet competitive organization. Through fundraising and league fees, the SRHL ventures to not only improve the quality of facilities Chatham County has provided, but strives to ensure that hockey is affordable for anyone who has a passion to learn and play the game. Show the league what you're made of and join us today for 4V4 Adult roller hockey!
Who we are
The SRHL was founded by two soldiers stationed in Fort Stewart. Luke Jones and Jocelyn Irvin. With one's love and passion for the sport and another's love and passion for business, they created the idea and built the league. Today, the league is managed by several volunteers. The goal set was to be a fun and competitive hockey league for all players in the area while also serving as the 'hub of hockey' in the coastal Georgia region. We want to spread the sport to new players and for players displaced in a region with a hockey background.
